Your first automation

A 5-minute walkthrough — set up a comment trigger, write a one-message DM flow, and watch a real comment turn into a real DM.

This walkthrough builds the simplest automation that's still useful: when someone comments PRICE on any of your posts, the bot DMs them the price and a link to the product.

You should be able to finish this in five minutes.

Before you start

  • TikTok is connected.
  • You have at least one published video on the connected account.
  • You have one product in TikTok Shop you want to promote.

Step 1 — Create the flow

  1. Go to Flows → New flow.

  2. Name it something you'll recognize later, like Price reply — Hydra Serum.

  3. Choose Single message as the template.

  4. Write the DM. Use real product language; avoid generic SaaS phrasing.

    Hi! ราคา Hydra Serum 30ml คือ ฿890 ค่ะ 🌿 ดูสีและรีวิวเพิ่มเติมได้ที่นี่ → [Shop link]

  5. In the Link field, paste your TikTok Shop product URL. ChatSparks will render it as a tappable card.

  6. Click Save draft.

You can write DMs in any locale ChatSparks supports (th, en, id, vi). The bot does not translate — what you write is what the buyer sees.

Step 2 — Create the comment trigger

  1. Go to Automations → New automation.
  2. Pick the trigger type Comment matches keyword.
  3. Set:
    • Match against: comments on all my videos (you can scope to a single video later).
    • Keywords: PRICE, ราคา, เท่าไหร่.
    • Match mode: word match, case-insensitive.
  4. Pick the action Send DM using flow, then select the Price reply — Hydra Serum flow you just created.
  5. Leave Reply to the comment on. The bot will reply publicly with a short line like ส่งราคาให้ทาง DM แล้วนะคะ ✨ so other viewers know to check their inbox.
  6. Click Activate.

Step 3 — Test with a real comment

  1. From a second TikTok account (or ask a teammate), comment ราคา on one of your videos.
  2. Open the ChatSparks Inbox. Within a few seconds you should see:
    • A new conversation with that account.
    • The DM the bot just sent.
    • A note: Triggered by: Price reply — Hydra Serum.
