Your first automation

A 5-minute walkthrough — set up a comment trigger, write a one-message DM flow, and watch a real comment turn into a real DM.

This walkthrough builds the simplest automation that's still useful: when someone comments PRICE on any of your posts, the bot DMs them the price and tells them how to order.

You should be able to finish this in five minutes.

Before you start

TikTok is connected.
You have at least one published video on the connected account.
You have one product you want to promote.

Step 1 — Start a new automation

Go to Automations → New automation. Name it something you'll recognize later, like Price reply — Hydra Serum.

An automation has two parts — the trigger (when it fires) and the flow (what the bot sends). You build both in the same editor.

Step 2 — Set the trigger

Pick the trigger type Comment matches keyword.
Set:
- Match against: comments on all my videos (you can scope to specific videos later).
- Keywords: PRICE, ราคา, เท่าไหร่.
Leave Reply to the comment on. The bot will reply publicly with a short line like ส่งราคาให้ทาง DM แล้วนะคะ ✨ so other viewers know to check their inbox.

Step 3 — Build the DM

In the flow part of the editor, add a Send Message step and write the DM. Use real product language; avoid generic SaaS phrasing.

You can write DMs in any language Tuku supports (Thai, English, Indonesian, Vietnamese). The bot does not translate — what you write is what the buyer sees.

Then click Activate.

Step 4 — Test with a real comment

From a second TikTok account (or ask a teammate), comment ราคา on one of your videos.
Open the Tuku Inbox. Within a few seconds you should see:
- A new conversation with that account.
- The DM the bot just sent.
- A note showing which automation started it.
