TukuManual

Experts

Teach Tuku to answer your buyers' questions in your voice — an expert is a set of knowledge plus its own instructions.

An expert is a set of knowledge with its own instructions. Once AI Replies are live, the AI answers buyers as that expert, using only the documents you attach to it — so you can have a "Product Q&A" expert, a "Shipping & Returns" expert, and so on, each with the right knowledge and the right tone.

Open it from the sidebar under AI → Experts.

AI is a Pro feature. Experts and the Knowledge Base are available on Pro plans. They're not included in the Free plan or the $49 beta lifetime founding offer — those see an upgrade notice instead of the create/upload screens. See Plans & pricing.

You can build your experts and knowledge now so they're ready to go. The part that actually answers buyers from them — AI Replies — is still rolling out, so the in-app Try it playground is a preview that isn't wired up to live answers yet.

What's in an expert

PartWhat it does
NameA label for the set, e.g. Product Q&A, Shipping & Returns.
InstructionsHow this expert should answer — voice, language, length. e.g. "Reply as a friendly Thai skincare advisor; keep it under 2 sentences."
Only answer from attached knowledgeWhen on, the expert sticks strictly to its attached documents and won't improvise beyond them. Recommended.
KnowledgeThe documents this expert is allowed to answer from — see Knowledge Base.

Creating an expert

  1. Go to AI → Experts and click New expert.
  2. Give it a name and write its instructions.
  3. Attach knowledge — upload new documents or pick from your library. The same document can be attached to more than one expert.
  4. Create. You land on the expert's detail page, where you can edit the config, manage attached knowledge, and (soon) test it in the playground.

Editing and deleting

Open any expert to change its name, instructions, the "only answer from knowledge" toggle, or its attached documents.

Deleting an expert keeps its knowledge documents — they stay in your Knowledge Base and stay attached to any other experts that use them. Only the expert (its name and instructions) is removed.

How experts relate to knowledge

Knowledge documents and experts are many-to-many: one document can power several experts, and one expert can draw on several documents. Upload your FAQs, policies, and product details once in the Knowledge Base, then mix and match them into focused experts.
